MY STORY

We work best with people we like

To work well together, you and I don’t have to be the same. In fact, difference can be great. It is important though to choose a coach who you feel comfortable and in tune with. Here I will tell you more about me; not only my experience and qualifications, but even more importantly, my core values, strengths, weaknesses and beliefs. Hi, I'm Annabelle

I’m an Executive, Leadership and Life Coach. I live in London but spent a happy childhood in hot and bustling Hong Kong, growing up the youngest of 5 siblings. I studied Psychology in London, at UCL, then completed my PGCE at the Institute of Education to become a primary school teacher - a job I absolutely adored. Within a few years, I moved into middle then senior leadership and, although I missed the classroom, I soon fell in love with the many joys of leadership: people development, team building, transforming culture, creating community and seeing everyone stride towards a united vision. Not to mention the big ideas, the strategic thinking and the continuous improvement and optimisation of efficiency, performance and outcome. And of course, the pride when you stand back with your team and look at it all - what you have created, how far you have come, the purpose it serves and the impact it has on others. What a feeling.

I’ve always naturally been someone who takes the lead and solves problems. Through my development as a coach, I’ve learnt to facilitate rather than lead, to enable rather than solve, helping my clients to plot and forge their unique journey towards success and happiness. Coaching has allowed me to further develop many of my passions: curiosity, listening, empathy, motivation, collaboration and propelling clients towards growth and positive change.

My strengths have always shone brightest in the realm of working with people - uplifting individuals to their maximum potential, building high-performing teams and creating a positive and deep-rooted culture. By empowering and elevating people through strong and altruistic leadership, an organisation’s success, and one’s own sense of fulfilment, becomes more certain.

Big results require big ambition

I believe strongly in ambition and, to me, this does not mean clambering past others up a corporate ladder. To me, ambition is finding your drive and determination to be the absolute best you can be - the truest, happiest and most successful version of yourself. It is also inspiring and empowering those around you: your team, your company and the culture of the organisation. Ambition is raising the bar. And leaping to hit it again and again and again.

When working with clients, I will always ensure that you are ambitious in your goals, whatever they may be, and through our work, the possibility of achieving them will soon become a reality. I will make sure you get to the finish line.

Is this your happy place?

Another value of mine is happiness and I believe that life - work, home, relationships, well-being, even coaching - should feel good. We must strive for what we truly want, doing right by others along the way. This may sound simple, but it isn’t always, is it? To do it, we need to know what we want and what we don’t. We need to understand how to get it and we need to feel like we can take the necessary steps towards it. Then we need to move! And keep moving, despite the obstacles and self-doubt. Through all of it, we need to enjoy the ride. Finding success and happiness is not easy. Through coaching, we can make it much easier, smoothing and paving the road to possibility.

And it's worth it, isn't it?

Having purpose, finding happiness and fulfilment, rediscovering your drive, feeling inspired, being the best you can be, reaching your goals?

Of course it is!
